My wife was checking out my toenails this morning and noticed they were getting a little dangerous looking. I think it’s time to add toenail grooming to my list of personal development focuses. lol
In an effort to spread the good word and support my fellow bloggers, every weekend (mostly Sundays) I’ll be posting some of my favorite personal-development articles from around the web that I’ve read this week. If you feel there should be an article here that I’ve missed, by all means, let me know! I’m always trying to get acquainted with new blogs.
So here they are:
- Brian Kim over at briankim.net wrote a hot article about The Top 5 Things that Should Be Taught in Every School. Looking back at my school experience and seeing what I wish I had known more of, Brian is spot on.
- Scott Young wrote a great article this week called Be an Adult. According to Scott, “you are an adult to the degree to which you take responsibility for your life and the world around you.” I wish more people would come to understand and know this — the world would be a better place.
- Erek Ostrowski (a fellow Bostonian) over at Verve Coaching is starting what looks to be a good series on Being Effective with People. This first post deals with the importance of listening. Check it out!
- Laura Young from The Dragon Slayer’s Guide to Life (love the name Laura!) wrote a great post on The top ten reasons she’s impressed with GTD. If you’ve read my book review on David Allen’s, Getting Things Done, you would know why it is that I too “loooove” his stuff.
